Professional Installation

We know convenience is key. Designing Windows Plus will coordinate and accept delivery of your awning from the manufacturer. Upon delivery the product will be inspected. After careful consideration of inspection our office will call to schedule your installation. The product is than loaded on the installation team's vehicle and delivered onsite for professional installation.

Our installation team will bring your new awning, proper hardware, and accessories the day of your scheduled installation. After installation, proper adjustments, and programming (if available) are completed and full product walkthrough is completed. The jobsite will be cleaned up and tidy upon completion. We will also dispose of the protective packaging from the manufacturer.

How does weather affect my Awning Delivery and Installation?

Weather Forecast in Your Neighborhood

​Sometimes weather can delay awning delivery and installation after scheduled, there are a few things we can do to prepare:

1. When delivering and installing your new awning, typically there are contingency plans for inclement weather.  When needed we will reschedule the delivery and installation for a day with better weather.
2. We strive to maintain the best installation practices and when the conditions are to wet/frozen, muddy, or hot/cold we risk damage to your new product as well as the safety of our installation team.
3. Please make sure the "installation area" is prepared prior to installation day.  We will assist in moving outdoor furniture and bulky items when possible. This will make the process safer and more efficient on installation day.
4. Be flexible: Be prepared to be flexible and patient during the installation process. Rain and/or weather conditions can make installation more difficult and time-consuming, so it may take longer than expected.  However, by working with Designing Windows Plus and being prepared, you can ensure a successful installation, even in light rain.
